Job Description
Reception and patient relations
- Welcome patients with professionalism, kindness and discretion
- Inform and guide patients throughout their care pathway
Administrative management and organisation
- Plan and manage appointments by optimising schedules
- Update medical records in computer systems (EHR)
- Manage orders and stocks (medical equipment, consumables, supplies), liaising with suppliers and service needs
- Manage clinic staff allocations
Clinical assistance
- Prepare patients for consultations and examinations
- Assist healthcare professionals during medical procedures
- Perform certain technical care (vital signs measurement, blood sampling, injections, dressings; ECG according to skills)
- Ensure proper installation and comfort of patients
- Assist ICU nurses and the Nursing Management with administrative tasks
Coordination and communication
- Ensure liaison between patients, doctors, care teams and external partners
- Transmit necessary information for continuity of care
- Participate in coordinating patient pathways
- Act as a link between different clinic departments and Nursing Management
Billing and medical administrative management
- Participate in billing processes and file follow-up
- Ensure compliance of administrative documents
Quality, hygiene and safety
- Respect hygiene, safety rules and current protocols
- Ensure confidentiality of medical data
- Maintain a clean, organised and secure working environment
Qualifications
Education
- Nursing diploma or ASSC
Professional experience
- Previous experience in coordination or patient flow management is a plus
Languages
- Excellent command of French (spoken and written)
- Minimum B1 level in English required, allowing basic professional communication with patients and interlocutors
Technical skills
- Proficiency with computer tools (Excel, PowerPoint, planning tools, EHR)
- Knowledge of medical administrative procedures (appointment scheduling, file management, billing)
- Mastery of basic technical gestures (vital signs measurement, blood sampling, ECG, simple care, assistance with medical acts)
- Knowledge of hygiene, safety and confidentiality standards
