Role:
In this demanding position, you will actively drive the technological development and optimisation of our plant equipment. With your expertise in process engineering, materials science, and process analysis, you will make a significant contribution to increasing efficiency and quality. Through your structured working method and analytical thinking, you will implement sustainable improvements across all production stages.
Responsibilities:
Development and optimisation of existing production plants in the field of compounding and extrusion
Participation in investment projects for modernisation and capacity expansion
Planning, execution, and evaluation of process engineering test series to increase efficiency
Analysis and improvement of existing processes regarding energy consumption, cost-effectiveness, and stability
Support of scale-up productions until stable series maturity
Implementation of technical improvement projects to increase plant availability and process reliability
Close collaboration with development, production, and quality assurance in process optimisations
Documentation, interpretation, and presentation of test results with derivation of concrete measures
Training and support of employees and apprentices in the technical environment
Qualifications:
Completed studies in process engineering, plastics engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable education
Alternatively: technical basic training with further education (HF/TS) and solid practical experience
Several years of professional experience in compounding, extrusion, or plastics processing
Comprehensive knowledge in materials science (polymers, additives) and process optimisation
Experience in investment projects, test execution, and data evaluation
Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
High initiative, sense of responsibility, and team spirit
Fluent German language skills
