Our establishment is actively seeking a nurse to join our team from 1st November, to complete our team. The contract is planned for a minimum of 12 months, with prospects for extension. If you are motivated and passionate about your profession, we invite you to apply.

Profile

• Bachelor of Science HES-SO degree in nursing (or equivalent), recognised by the Red Cross for foreign diplomas;
• Minimum of 3 years professional experience;
• Interest in elderly care;
• Proficiency in common computer tools;
• Knowledge of the RAI assessment tool is desirable;
• Great ability to adapt and manage difficult situations (psycho-geriatric);
• Strong sense of responsibility and willingness to take initiative;
• Autonomy, dynamism and natural calm;
• Aptitude for interdisciplinary team work with strong communication and listening skills;
• Physical and mental resilience;
• Fluency in French, both spoken and written;
• Additional training in psycho-geriatric care or palliative care would be an asset, as would a thorough knowledge of the Montessori method according to Cameron Camp.

Mission

• Provide appropriate and quality care, taking into account the individual needs and abilities of residents;
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure personalised and optimal care;
• Adopt conduct in accordance with professional ethics;
• Promote coordination between residents, their relatives and/or families, establishing strong relationships with them;
• Supervise the team, students or trainees, while sharing knowledge;
• Actively participate in institutional projects.
