A cantonal public law institution, the CNP is tasked with leading the health policy of the canton of Neuchâtel in the field of mental health, in collaboration with partner institutions. The CNP aims to rehabilitate patients suffering from mental disorders through the adoption of an integrated and community psychiatry model; it implements public policies for the promotion and prevention of mental health; it acts as a reference centre in the field of professional training and research in psychiatry.

Chief Consultant Psychiatrist Mobile Team
You hold a Swiss diploma or one recognised by MEBEKO. You have obtained the FMH title in psychiatry-psychotherapy (or at least the first part of the title in the process of being obtained), and wish to join a recognised institution specialised in mental health? As part of your role you will be required to:
o Develop and implement the directives and programmes necessary to the department’s objectives, and ensure the smooth running of clinical activities in a spirit of multidisciplinary collaboration.
o Collaborate within a multidisciplinary approach and as part of a mobile team.
o Provide expertise and assistance to primary care medicine, home care teams, as well as in collaboration with somatic care.
o Be capable of providing specialised care and appropriate support outside the psychiatric hospital setting.
o Participate in the continuing education of teams to ensure a high level of competence, and contribute to the development and improvement of diagnostic and treatment methods.
The skills required for this position are as follows:
o Have at least 2 years of experience in hospital and/or outpatient psychiatry
o Have knowledge of the Neuchâtel or Swiss health network
o Have a spirit of interdisciplinary teamwork and networking
o Demonstrate leadership and have a sense of planning
o Be capable of making decisions
