The Challenge

Due to an upcoming retirement, this key position is being refilled with a view to continuity and sustainable further development. The aim is to ensure a seamless handover and to successfully align the electricity supply for the long term. In this responsible role, you will actively shape the future of the department. You will take overall responsibility for reliable and economical operations management while driving innovations and strategic developments forward. Balancing proven structures, regulatory requirements, and pioneering projects, you will lead a committed team of 18 employees and decisively shape the energy supply of tomorrow. As a member of the executive management, you will also share responsibility for the overall development of the company and make a significant contribution to sustainable business success.

Your Tasks

• Leading various teams in the areas of network planning, project management, construction, operations, and regulatory/metering services

• Strategic and operational development of electricity supply and implementation of new requirements and technologies

• Exchange with the Board of Directors to develop and review the company strategy

• Budgeting and management of infrastructure projects in medium and low voltage supply, public lighting, and network planning

• Ensuring compliance with economic, technical, and regulatory requirements

• Deputising for team leaders

Your Profile

• Solid experience in electricity supply or a related field

• Leadership experience in a comparable role with responsibility for teams and projects

• Technical expertise in network planning/engineering and/or operation & maintenance of electrical infrastructures

• Entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to combine innovation with proven structures

• Strong communication skills and enjoyment in collaborating with internal and external partners
