The Clair Bois Foundation is a private organisation benefiting from a service contract with the State of Geneva. In its five schools and homes located in Pregny-Chambésy, Lancy (Childhood - Adolescence Centre), Pinchat, Chêne-Bougeries and in the City of Geneva (Adult Centre), it welcomes people with multiple disabilities. It also supports young people in initial training and employs a significant number of staff in adapted employment (Socio-professional Centre).

For the Gradelle home, the Foundation's Adult Centre is looking for:

A socio-educational assistant

Job description:

• Support people with multiple disabilities in daily life and in the specific interventions of their personalised project
• Actively participate in the activities of the living space, weekends and leisure
• Be proactive in proposing activities and outings that meet the needs of the residents
• Contribute to improving the quality of support and the personalised project of the residents
• Strengthen the autonomy and integration of residents in neighbourhood life
• Contribute to optimal information flow and quality of links between the different professions within the institution
• Participate in the development of the Adult Centre

Qualifications:

• Holder of a Federal VET Diploma as a socio-educational assistant
• Professional experience with people with disabilities
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency in common IT tools
• Swiss nationality or valid permit
• Driving licence
