Job Description
On behalf of our client, an independent, human-sized financial company specialising in wealth management, asset management and investment funds, we are looking for a student to strengthen the Back Office & Reconciliations team at a workload between 40% and 60% in Geneva.
This role, designed to be performed alongside studies, will allow the recruited person to develop practical experience in the financial sector. They will benefit from progressive training in the various activities of the team and will gain autonomy over the course of their engagement.
The starting date is desired as soon as possible, no later than early December 2026.
Main Responsibilities
- Enter banking transactions into the Portfolio Management System (PMS).
- Participate in the control and reconciliation of PMS data with those of custodian banks.
- Contribute to the entry and reconciliation of the shareholder register of investment funds.
- Identify, analyse and help resolve any discrepancies found.
- Support the team in its daily operational activities.
- Participate in the improvement and automation of processes.
- Collaborate with different departments and progressively train in all team activities.
Profile Sought
- Ongoing studies in finance, economics, management, accounting or in a training considered equivalent.
- Strong interest in Back Office activities and the financial sector.
- Previous experience or internship in banking, finance or administration is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of financial products, notably shares, bonds, funds and dividends.
- Precise, patient and rigorous personality, with good logical thinking.
- Team spirit, curiosity and a genuine desire to learn.
- Willingness to commit long-term alongside studies.
- Excellent command of French and very good knowledge of English.
- Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Availability at a rate between 40% and 60%, according to an arrangement to be agreed.
