Supply Chain Manager__
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you are responsible for the operational and strategic management of the entire warehouse area. You lead the team in daily operations, ensure efficient warehouse processes, and guarantee a smooth flow of goods across all interfaces. You drive continuous improvements and play a key role in employee development as well as ensuring quality and budget compliance.
The working model for the role is: on-site
This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager.
You are mainly responsible for:
Leading and developing the warehouse team
including annual qualification reviews and role-specific training.
Managing daily warehouse operations
and overseeing all material flows (incoming, storage, outgoing, internal) as well as warehouse equipment.
Optimising warehouse processes
Conducting root cause analyses and implementing effective corrective and continuous improvement measures.
Executing inventory and budget responsibilities
including quarterly raw material counts, annual full inventory, required reporting, and annual budget planning
Qualifications for the role
Completed vocational training in logistics (Logistics Specialist EFZ) and further training in logistics
Several years of professional experience in warehouse logistics and in a leadership role.
Experience in reporting tasks
Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
Very good knowledge of ERP SAP as well as MS Office
Possession of a SUVA-compliant forklift licence, valid at the place of work.
Flexible, communicative, team-oriented and resilient personality who understands how to motivate and promote employees
