Financial Controller with Project Responsibility (m/f/d)

Role:

In this role, you combine financial controlling with the coordination of cross-departmental projects. Together with the controlling and project management leadership, you strengthen the reliability of financial data, create sound decision-making bases, and further develop processes and system solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Review of valuations, provisions, and accruals as well as ensuring correct and comprehensible documentation

• Reconciliation between trading and financial systems, analysis of discrepancies, and early identification of financial risks

• Preparation and commentary of management reports on margins, costs, cash flow, and working capital

• Coordination of the month-end closing with trading, logistics, treasury, and accounting including deadline monitoring and resolution of open items

• Documentation and standardisation of processes to sustainably improve financial procedures

• Management of finance and system projects including milestones, decision documentation, and tracking of measures

Qualifications:

• Degree in finance, accounting, controlling, business administration, or a comparable field

• At least three years of experience in controlling, accounting, or audit with practical experience in month-end closings, reconciliations, and financial analyses

• Experience in cross-departmental projects, ideally in finance or system environments; commodity trading experience is an advantage

• Very good Excel skills as well as experience with ERP and reporting systems

• Very good German and English; French, Spanish, or Portuguese are additional plus points

• Structured, independent working style with clear communication and consistent implementation

• Authorization to work in Switzerland or corresponding EU citizenship
