The night shift team is cross-clinic responsible for the nursing care of patients at night. It specifically supports and carries out defined tasks for the night nursing staff of the acute psychiatric wards of the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (KPP), the psychiatric emergency and crisis intervention ward (ZINK), as well as the Clinic for Consultation, Geriatric and Neuropsychiatry (KAN). The night shift team covers different treatment focuses, such as emergency admissions and emergency situations. The night shift team significantly contributes to ensuring contemporary nursing quality at night.
Profile
- Completed medical studies / Swiss diploma or recognised equivalent
- Professional experience in psychiatry / psychotherapy and/or somatics is an advantage
- Good knowledge of the German language, at least language level C1
- Interest in emergency psychiatry
Tasks
- Admission and initial care of patients admitted as emergencies
- Medical treatment / care of inpatient patients
- Close cooperation with the psychiatric emergency service of the Centre for Integrated Emergency Psychiatry and Crisis Intervention
