About the job
The University ENT Clinic offers competent medical care for the entire field of ear, nose and throat medicine with special areas in tumour surgery, cochlear implantation, neuro-otology, audiology and phoniatrics. In rhinology, patients have access to an interdisciplinary team for the consultation and treatment of adults and children.
What to expect
- Professional responsibility and personnel management of the rhinology department of the ENT clinic as well as member of the clinic management
- Treatment and care of outpatient and inpatient patients from the entire spectrum of rhinology
- Responsibility for research projects in the field of rhinology (including further development/establishment of olfactometry and gustometry)
- Training and supervision of physicians for obtaining the specialist title (training centre category A)
- Taking on chief physician on-call duties (standby) at night and on weekends
- State-of-the-art infrastructure and equipment in the ENT field as well as a highly motivated team
What you bring
- Federally recognised specialist title in oto-rhino-laryngology as well as desired subspecialty title in head and facial surgery (SIWF)
- Solid clinical and surgical experience including skull base surgery as well as habilitation
- Enjoyment in training young colleagues as well as proven leadership experience and willingness to take on leadership responsibility
- Commitment to overarching tasks of the clinic such as student teaching
- Interest and commitment to further development of internal clinical processes and structures
- Strong social and communication skills in dealing with patients and staff as well as high customer orientation and impeccable manners
- Very independent, precise and reliable working style
- Good organisational skills and high initiative
- Very good German skills (C1-C2), oral French and English skills.
