Tasks

• Senior medical management of the Department for Addiction Disorders together with the nursing ward management
• Participation in the further development of the conceptual and therapeutic orientation of the department
• Opportunity to manage more complex patient cases
• Leadership and training of assistant physicians and/or psychologists in training within the framework of the institution's training mandate
• If interested, the specialist training in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of Addiction Disorders can be completed (Category A specialist training centre) including the possibility of rotation in Opioid Agonist Therapy (OAT) outpatient clinics Solothurn (Gourrama) and Addiction Outpatient Clinic Solothurn

Profile

• Specialist title in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy or close to obtaining it (with foreign diploma recognised by MEBEKO)
• Clinical experience in an institutional inpatient setting
• Experience in the field of addiction disorders is an advantage
• Experience in the Swiss healthcare system
• Integrative and flexible personality with commitment and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
