Your mission

You will provide individual support to a child with specific needs within their early childhood care setting. You will offer personalised support to the child throughout the various moments of their day, taking into account their current development, rhythm, needs and abilities.

Your main responsibilities

• Support the child during the different moments of daily life.
• Adapt your support to their abilities and development.
• Encourage their participation in activities and group life.
• Promote their autonomy and learning.
• Ensure their safety while providing opportunities for exploration necessary for their development.
• Observe their progress and communicate relevant information to the team.
• Implement the objectives and adaptations defined with the educational team and professionals surrounding the child.
• Contribute to coherent and evolving care, regularly adjusted to their needs.

Your profile

• Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as socio-educational assistant (ASE) or equivalent qualification.
• Interest in supporting children with specific needs.
• Good observation and adaptation skills.
• Ability to support the child in their learning and autonomy.
• Patience, reliability and sense of responsibility.
• Aptitude for teamwork and ability to work within a defined framework.
• Appropriate professional communication.
