About the job
Founded in Switzerland in 1968, Zühlke is owned by its partners and located across Europe and Asia. We are a global transformation partner, with engineering and innovation in our DNA. We're trusted to help clients envision and build their businesses for the future – to run smarter today while adapting for tomorrow’s markets, customers, and communities. Our multidisciplinary teams specialise in tech strategy and business innovation, digital solutions and applications, and device and systems engineering. We excel in complex, regulated spaces including health and finance, connecting strategy, tech implementation, and operational services to help clients become more effective, resilient businesses.
If you share our values and want to do the best work, for the right reasons, we can offer you the chance to do it on a global scale and play a real role in shaping our exciting journey.
You lead demanding proposals to success and ensure that we win our clients with clear, convincing and differentiating offers.
Your task.
You are responsible for and coordinate the proposal process for complex and strategically relevant offers – from qualification to decision.
Together with the Opportunity Owner and the Bid Team, you develop the offer strategy, sharpen the value proposition and formulate convincing win themes.
You consistently adopt the customer perspective, question and optimise content, and ensure that our proposals are tailored to the needs, challenges and decision criteria of our clients.
You orchestrate interdisciplinary bid teams and bring together contributions from business consulting, engineering, user experience and other specialist areas into a consistent story.
You moderate workshops and regular meetings, ensure clarity within the bid team and contribute content-wise if necessary.
You prepare qualification and review gates and create transparency about progress.
You support the preparation of client presentations – from the storyline to the presentation materials and dry runs.
You ensure high content, linguistic and visual quality and keep track of deadlines and deliverables even under tight schedules.
You actively contribute your experience to our proposal management team and support the continuous development of our proposal management.
Your talent.
You have at least 3 years of experience in proposal management in the B2B service environment, ideally in consulting, software engineering or technology-related solution businesses – and have independently managed demanding proposals.
German is your native language or at native level (at least C2): you bring strong editorial and conceptual skills in German as well as very good English skills, both spoken and written.
You work in a structured, detail-oriented and reliable manner and keep priorities and deadlines in view even with several parallel proposals.
You are used to working with senior stakeholders, moderating different interests and ensuring structure, clarity and commitment even under time pressure.
You can quickly familiarise yourself with new clients, topics and complex solution proposals and know how to translate technical and commercial content into a convincing client story.
You enjoy working in short-term assembled, interdisciplinary teams and can align people without formal leadership responsibility towards a common goal.
You are an advanced power user of all MS Office tools, have a good eye for aesthetics and quality and are accustomed to using AI tools.
A university degree (Uni/FH) in business administration, marketing/communication, business informatics or a comparable discipline is an advantage. Further training in bid or sales management is welcome.
