Your tasks
- Participation in the core processes of the student secretariat (processing admission files, organising the start of the semester, semester completion, etc.)
- Providing information to prospective students, students, lecturers and programme directors (e.g. regarding admission requirements, study progress, regulations)
- Preparation, processing and updating of study data using appropriate administrative tools
- Correspondence with applicants and students (admissions, results, etc.)
- Participation in the development of the service (changes to regulations and processes, technical and functional developments, adaptation of documents, etc.) in collaboration with involved services (e.g. IT or communications department)
- Assistance in organising and conducting various events (open day, information events, graduation ceremony, etc.)
- Preparation of occasional translations for the student secretariat
- Participation in activities in the field of digital marketing
Additional information
- Fixed-term contract for 3 years; renewable
- Employment rate: 80–100 %
Desired profile
- Federal VET Diploma as a merchant or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the administrative management of educational programmes is an advantage
- Ability to work independently or in a team on several projects and tasks simultaneously
- Conscientious and careful working style
- Organisational talent, flexibility and initiative combined with a forward-looking working method and the ability to set priorities
- Confident use of MS Office and great interest in working with various programmes (e.g. IS-Academia, SharePoint, Salesforce Education, etc.)
- Good communication skills, editorial skills and service orientation
- Fluency in German or French with very good knowledge of the other language
