The Office for Supplementary Benefits, with 10 employees, administers supplementary benefits for IV/AHV recipients and bridging benefits for older unemployed people in the city of Dietikon, thereby ensuring an adequate minimum income for people in modest circumstances.
Your tasks
- Providing information about the rights and obligations of insured persons and employers concerning AHV, IV, EO, FAK and ALV
- Informing insured persons about their entitlements in the area of premium reductions
- Receiving, processing and forwarding correspondence
- Assisting at the counter (general information provision) in the area of supplementary benefits for AHV/IV
- Checking, billing and reimbursing illness and disability costs in the area of supplementary benefits for AHV/IV
- Personal and telephone advice to applicants, their relatives as well as social workers and legal guardians
Your profile
- Commercial training (administrative apprenticeship advantageous)
- Interest in social insurance (further training as a clerk
- social insurance advantageous)
- Good manners and enjoyment of customer contact
- Empathy and negotiation skills in dealing with elderly and disabled persons
- Ability to work in a team
