Lifeguards - assistants (50% to 100%)

To ensure the supervision of the pools at the outdoor swimming pools in Lausanne (Bellerive Beach, Montchoisi and 4 district pools), we are looking for several lifeguards for the summer season 2027.

Duration

Assistant contracts from mid-May to the end of September 2027 (dates to be confirmed later)

Main mission(s)

Professionally ensure the supervision of the public in the pools, the lake and the different areas of the swimming pool

Prevent accidents and intervene if necessary for first aid gestures

Carry out maintenance and cleaning work of the premises, changing rooms and pools

Profile

Minimum 18 years old

Holder of the PRO POOL certificate from the Swiss Lifesaving Society (SSS) and up-to-date BLS-AED certificate mandatory

Holder of a lake rescue module and/or boat licence, an advantage

Decision-making ability and resistance to stress

Interest in teamwork

Aptitude to communicate courteously and impartially

Good physical condition and interest in outdoor work

Special conditions

Clean criminal record (ordinary and special)

Irregular and staggered hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays; daily opening
