For our client, an established and manufacturing industrial company in the Spreitenbach region, we are looking for a reliable, practically minded and technically skilled operations mechanic. In this role, you will play an important part in the maintenance of modern production facilities, ensuring that machines, systems and operational equipment run reliably and with minimal disruption.
This position is ideal for a mechanically strong individual who enjoys hands-on work, analysing technical problems thoroughly and taking pleasure in a varied industrial environment.
- Analysis and resolution of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults
- Carrying out preventive maintenance work
- Participation in overhauls, conversions and technical optimisations
- Support with installations and commissioning of new systems
- Fabrication, adjustment or repair of mechanical components
- Inspection and replacement of wear parts
- Documentation of completed work
- Ensuring order, occupational safety and quality within own area
- Close collaboration with production, engineering and external service partners
- Experience in operational maintenance, upkeep or industrial environment is an advantage
- Good knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics
- Basic knowledge of electrical or control technology is an advantage
- Independent, precise and solution-oriented working style
- Willingness for occasional on-call duty or shift work, depending on the company
- Good German language skills
- Team spirit, reliability and high quality awareness

Profile
- Completed training as a polymechanic, production mechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic, construction machinery mechanic, automation technician, mechanic or equivalent- Experience in operational maintenance, upkeep or industrial environment is an advantage

- Basic knowledge of electrical or control technology is an advantage
