In an innovative research and development environment, we are looking for a technically skilled individual who combines practical test execution with technical know-how. You will participate in demanding material tests and support scientific teams in the realisation of new test setups.
- Ensuring the safe and trouble-free operation of material testing systems, including maintenance and calibration
- Assembly, adjustment and optimisation of apparatus in collaboration with internal specialists and external partners
- Planning and coordination of sample production as well as creation of cutting plans
- Basic understanding of measurement, control and electrical engineering as well as data acquisition
- Knowledge in mechanical manufacturing, design and CAD
- Experience in handling electromechanical systems
- Manual dexterity, broad technical understanding and a careful working method
- Good English skills for collaboration in an international environment

Tasks
- Development, design and technical implementation of test setups and experimental facilities- Ensuring the safe and trouble-free operation of material testing systems, including maintenance and calibration

- Planning and coordination of sample production as well as creation of cutting plans
Profile
- Completed technical apprenticeship as a polymechanic EFZ, automation technician EFZ or designer EFZ or similar with further training as a technician HF or comparable qualification- Basic understanding of measurement, control and electrical engineering as well as data acquisition
- Knowledge in mechanical manufacturing, design and CAD
- Experience in handling electromechanical systems
- Manual dexterity, broad technical understanding and a careful working method
- Good English skills for collaboration in an international environment
