DevOps & Cloud Platform Lead (m/f/d)

Role:
Building platforms is one thing, operating them stably over years is another. You do both. As a technical lead, you influence architectural decisions and set standards for security, monitoring, and deployment. Automation is not a goal but a mindset for you. Your knowledge does not stay with you: through code reviews and training, you raise the technical quality across the entire team.
Responsibilities:
You design, build, and operate container and cloud infrastructures based on Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure
You accompany projects from setup to operation and are responsible for stability and performance
You influence architectural decisions and define standards for security, monitoring, and deployment
You are responsible for the central CI/CD infrastructure from pipeline blueprints through upgrades to onboarding new projects
You establish infrastructure-as-code, deployment processes, and monitoring setups with a focus on repeatability
Additionally, you analyse customer requirements, advance development teams through code reviews and training, and integrate AI tools into engineering practice
Qualifications:
You bring solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes and are familiar with Azure
You know GitLab CI/CD or comparable platforms and understand what makes a production-ready pipeline
You understand what counts in productive operation: monitoring, logging, alerting, certificate management, and incident management
You think security by design and are familiar with compliance, IAM, zero trust, and micro-segmentation
You communicate complex matters clearly in German and English and work confidently in Scrum or Kanban projects
You have completed a computer science degree or have equivalent professional experience
