The Beyeler ward of the University Psychiatric Centre Bern offers a responsible role in geriatric psychiatry. Here, patients with various clinical pictures are treated. The work is based on a recovery-oriented approach with non-pharmacological therapies and the promotion of self-efficacy. This challenge includes both nursing care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Your tasks

• You take on the holistic care and support of patients with psychiatric conditions
• You promote and support trainees and students from various training areas
• You actively contribute to improving the quality of care and the further development of the nursing profession
• You work closely within the interprofessional team
• You implement milieu-therapeutic approaches to the daily routine of patients

Your profile

• You have completed training as a qualified nursing specialist HF/FH
• You bring professional experience in psychiatry
• You communicate clearly and empathetically and possess high social competence
• You work independently, professionally and responsibly
• You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written
