Senior Physician/Site Manager Obesity Centre (m/f/d)

In this role, you take on the responsible leadership of an established obesity centre with a wide professional scope and room for manoeuvre. You work in a highly motivated, interdisciplinary team within the Obesity Centre Central Switzerland and benefit from regular working hours during consultations. You engage in collegial, cross-site exchange and actively shape the further development of the service. If suitable, the role can be designed as a senior physician position with special functions. There is also the possibility to share the position for suitable applicants.
Responsibilities:
- You independently conduct medical consultations for patients with obesity along conservative and operative therapy pathways
- In this role, you lead the outpatient consultation at the Sursee site and, as site manager, bear the organisational and professional responsibility for the further development of the obesity centre
- You work closely with an interdisciplinary team and ensure coordinated, sustainable care for patients
- In this function, you contribute your own ideas, develop processes and services further, and promote continuous professional exchange within the Obesity Centre Central Switzerland with the sites in Lucerne and Stans
Qualifications:
- You preferably hold a completed specialist title in General Internal Medicine or Endocrinology or the focus title Visceral Surgery and have an interest in the disease pattern of obesity
- You enjoy leadership tasks, gladly take on organisational responsibility and want to actively shape an outpatient site
- You appreciate interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration and like to network with various professional groups
- You communicate clearly and reliably and maintain a respectful exchange with all parties involved
- You approach patients with empathy and work in a structured manner
- You keep an overview even in a dynamic outpatient environment
