Senior Consultant Anaesthetist (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role, you will take on a responsible position as a Senior Consultant Anaesthetist from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement, covering a broad professional spectrum. You will ensure anaesthesiological care within a 24-hour specialist presence system operating in shifts. You will be responsible for approximately 6,500 anaesthesias annually and ensure continuous care in the operating theatre, intensive care unit, delivery room, emergency department, and during resuscitations. You will make a significant contribution to providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centred anaesthesia care.
Responsibilities:
- You will work as an anaesthetist in the intervention areas
- In this role, you will jointly lead the anaesthesia in the intervention areas together with the chief physician, deputy, and anaesthesia nursing management
- As Senior Consultant Anaesthetist, you will participate in the management of the operating theatre in the management committee
- You will lead the medical staff assigned to you
- In this role, you will further develop the institute as a member of the institute management
- If interested, you will engage as an emergency physician SGNOR or equivalent
Qualifications:
- You are a specialist anaesthetist with a qualification recognised in Switzerland
- You have several years of professional experience, at least at senior physician level, in a larger hospital
- You have completed or are currently undertaking qualified training in management and leadership
- You bring understanding and interest in lived quality in medicine, medical economics, medical processes, patient contact, stakeholder management, and teamwork
- You enjoy further developing and modernising anaesthesia and operating theatre operations within a highly motivated team
- You are willing to constructively accompany the transformation process around a new hospital building
