Finance and Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF95,000 - 115,000Role:
In this role, you will independently prepare and analyse financial reports that serve as the basis for strategic company direction. You are responsible for ensuring financial transparency and make a significant contribution to the sustainable management of liquidity, profitability, and growth. Together with the Head of Financial Operations, you work on the continuous optimisation of processes and structures in finance and accounting. You maintain close communication with various departments to clearly prepare financial key figures and derive well-founded recommendations for action. Through your professional expertise, you contribute significantly to the company’s long-term financial health.
Responsibilities:
- You prepare quarterly, half-year, and annual financial statements for the parent company as well as selected subsidiaries and affiliated companies.
- In this role, you prepare for the annual audit, accompany it, and ensure the quality of master data in ERP and accounting systems.
- You support the specialist departments with quarterly invoicing.
- You take responsibility for VAT declaration including sales reconciliation.
- In this role, you document and optimise processes together with the Head of Financial Operations.
- You participate in digitalisation projects, especially in the area of AI and in the further development of Power BI and Abacus reports.
Qualifications:
- You have a higher business administration education (university, university of applied sciences) or a commercial basic education with targeted further training.
- You have several years of practical experience in financial accounting and are confident in preparing financial statements according to Swiss CO; you either have ongoing or completed further training in finance and accounting (e.g. professional certificate or expert course in accounting and controlling) or are willing to pursue it.
- Ideally, you are also familiar with Swiss GAAP FER and/or IFRS.
- You communicate confidently in written and spoken German and English.
- You use Abacus and Excel routinely and efficiently for your tasks.
- You design presentations appropriately for the audience and impress with a confident manner.
