In this role, you take responsibility for the operation, support, and further development of IT systems, ensuring their stability, security, and availability. You plan and implement system adjustments and optimisations and ensure that infrastructure components work efficiently together. Furthermore, you analyse faults, resolve incidents sustainably, and support users with technical queries. With your professional expertise, you evaluate new technologies and bring forward improvement suggestions to continuously modernise the system landscape. As a professional, you act independently, in a structured manner, and with quality awareness.
Responsibilities:
Technical support of demanding customer environments and ensuring reliable IT operations – both remotely and directly on-site at the customer
Analysis and sustainable resolution of complex faults at 2nd level as well as administration of Microsoft server, client, network, and VoIP infrastructures
Assessment of security-relevant events and implementation of necessary measures to protect business-critical systems and sensitive data
Participation in infrastructure projects as well as structured management of tickets, external partners, system changes, and technical documentation
Qualifications:
Completed IT education or comparable qualification and at least three years of experience in system engineering, ideally at an IT service provider
Solid Microsoft knowledge around Active Directory, GPO, Microsoft 365 as well as very good understanding of network and firewall technologies
Experience with Citrix-based virtual desktop solutions and Microsoft Azure as well as know-how in information security and data protection
Independent and customer-oriented engineer with strong analytical skills, driving licence category B, and willingness for occasional on-call, evening, and weekend duties
