About the job
To strengthen the "IT" Department within the "Shared Services Center" unit at the headquarters in Vernier or Ostermundigen in Bern, we are looking for a:
Technical Business Analyst – 100%
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in identifying, analysing and formalising the needs of our internal client within Support. At the heart of our IT ecosystem, you will help transform these needs into concrete and relevant solutions.
Your challenges
Analyse the business need
- Plan and structure the analysis within your scope
- Lead elicitation workshops using the appropriate methods
- Challenge the Salesforce solution to ensure its relevance
Document and communicate
- Formalise the needs and model the target processes
- Define functional requirements and associated constraints
- Prepare test plans and test cases for effective execution
Propose and implement solutions
- Actively contribute to projects and propose suitable solutions
- Identify and communicate functional risks
- Participate in change management
- Organise, execute tests and support production deployment
IT monitoring and support
- Provide functional support within your scope
- Contribute to monitoring and continuous improvement of tools
Your essential technical skills
- Advanced understanding of database models and SQL
- Advanced knowledge of APIs and system integration
- Advanced knowledge of data modelling
What you bring
Mastery of tools:
- Jira and Confluence
- Version control systems Git (Gitlab, Github, Bitbucket, etc.)
- ELK / Kibana
Profile:
- Higher education (university master’s degree, ETH, University of Applied Sciences, or equivalent)
- At least 5 years’ experience in business analysis in the IT field, ideally within a large multidisciplinary company
- Knowledge of development constraints
- Experience with AGILE projects, collaborating with Product Owners
- Ability to identify and propose concrete solutions
- French and/or German, with fluent English
- Solution-oriented, adaptable, analytical and cross-functional approach
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer orientation
- Communication and negotiation skills
