Head of Finance and Accounting (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF130,000 - 160,000Role:
Our partner is a globally leading Swiss niche player in the premium technology sector for international gastronomy with over 40 employees. To strengthen the finance department, we are looking for an experienced leader with an entrepreneurial mindset to start immediately or by arrangement. In this central position of trust, you will take operational responsibility for the group’s financial accounting, lead one team member both professionally and personally, manage group consolidation, and act as a strategic sparring partner directly for the CFO and executive management.

Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for preparing monthly and annual financial statements including group consolidation.
- You manage the general ledger and fixed asset accounting and ensure efficient cash management and timely creditor payments.
- In this role, you lead and develop the finance team both professionally and personally.
- You control accounting processes and systems and coordinate interfaces with other departments.
- You review and approve VAT returns and other statutory reports, ensuring their accuracy.
- As Head of Finance and Accounting, you prepare meaningful financial reports and analyses and act as a sparring partner to the CFO within the management team.
Qualifications:
- You have several years of professional experience in finance and solid expertise in financial closing.
- You have successfully completed further training in finance and accounting or business administration with a focus on finance.
- You demonstrate strong leadership skills and clear, audience-appropriate communication.
- You work independently, are resilient and conscientious, act reliably, and think entrepreneurially.
- You have a high IT affinity, understand ERP processes very well, and are proficient in Excel.
- You communicate fluently in German and very well in English, both orally and in writing.
