Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for a committed specialist for the planning and realisation of railway infrastructure projects. The position is suitable for civil engineers who want to develop their expertise in railway construction and gradually take on responsibility for their own subprojects.
Responsibilities:
Participation in the planning and realisation of railway infrastructure projects
Technical processing of projects in railway and railway civil engineering
Support of experienced project managers in project execution
Gradual assumption of first subproject management tasks
Development of creative, technically sound, and economical solutions
Leadership and supervision of plan creation
Participation in the preparation of cost estimates
Preparation and support with tender documents
Coordination and collaboration with clients and principals
Ensuring planning in compliance with relevant Swiss standards
Qualifications:
Completed studies as a Civil Engineer FH/ETH or university or university of applied sciences degree
Strong interest in railway construction and railway infrastructure projects
Initial professional experience in engineering or infrastructure construction is an advantage but not mandatory
Good knowledge of Swiss standards
CAD skills are an advantage
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness for professional development and gradual assumption of project responsibility
Good German language skills, spoken and written
