An established company with a modern IT landscape is building a new cloud-native integration platform to connect core systems with modern cloud services and is looking for reinforcement. The focus is on APIs, event-driven architecture, platform engineering, as well as scalable integration solutions based on modern cloud and container technologies.

Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate in the development, operation, and further development of a cloud-native integration platform based on Azure and Kubernetes
- Develop standardized templates, reference implementations, blueprints, and self-service functionalities
- Design modern API and event-based integration solutions with clear standards and ownership models
- Define and implement governance policies as well as automated compliance and quality checks
- Support and advise internal teams in the integration, modernisation, and replacement of existing interface landscapes
- Contribute to architecture and integration concepts around contract-first approaches, versioning, resilience, and domain-driven design
- Promote modern DevOps and automation practices within the platform environment
- Coach and support less experienced engineers and actively transfer knowledge within the teams
Our Requirements
- Several years of experience as a software engineer in integration or platform environments
- Excellent knowledge of API design (REST/OpenAPI, SOAP, AsyncAPI) as well as event-driven architecture (e.g. Apache Kafka)
- Solid Java skills, ideally with experience in Quarkus
- Experience with Azure, Kubernetes, and modern cloud and container platforms
- Familiar with DevOps principles, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automation
- Experience with domain-driven design and modelling complex interface and system landscapes
- Communicative personality with enthusiasm for coaching, knowledge sharing, and cross-team collaboration
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
