Application Manager Kubernetes (m/f/d)

Role:
Stable specialised applications do not arise by themselves. As an Application Manager Kubernetes, you keep a broad on-premises landscape running, technically demanding and close to the specialist departments. You are confident navigating between Linux, Windows and Kubernetes. A service area is being established, and your signature shapes it.
Responsibilities:
You keep application operations under control and integrate specialised applications into existing system landscapes
You receive, analyse and monitor fault reports in 2nd and 3rd level support
Additionally, you develop viable workarounds within problem management
For releases, you take on tasks in change, deployment and test management and document results thoroughly
You manage the lifecycle as well as interface management and drive improvements forward
You also maintain contact with specialist departments and external service providers
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or business informatics forms your professional basis
You have several years of practical experience operating on-premises applications, whether standard, industry-specific or custom software
You are familiar with agile methodologies in larger IT organisations from your daily work
Furthermore, you have already built and managed complex services and their interfaces
Clarity in coordination, reliability in appearance and independent planning of your topics are among your strengths
You are also willing to occasionally take on on-call duties
