For our innovative Swiss client in special machinery and plant engineering, we are looking for a motivated automation technician who is eager to get hydraulic and automated systems up and running.
In this exciting position, you combine electrical engineering, control technology and hydraulics and work on state-of-the-art industrial plants.
- Assembly and wiring of control cabinets and automation systems
- Integration of hydraulic components into overall systems
- Troubleshooting, optimisation and maintenance of existing plants
- Participation in the planning and testing of new machines
- Documentation of plants and creation of operating instructions
- Initial professional experience in industrial automation is an advantage - career starters are explicitly welcome!
- Knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT or similar)
- Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics is a great plus
- Manual dexterity and enjoyment of practical work
- Good German skills, English is an advantage
- Driving licence category B is an advantage
- At least 5 weeks holiday
- Very flexible working hours and flexitime
- High proportion of home office possible (for project-related assignments)

Profile
- Completed training as an automation technician EFZ or comparable qualification (e.g. electrician, polymechanic with automation experience)- Initial professional experience in industrial automation is an advantage - career starters are explicitly welcome!
- Knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT or similar)
- Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics is a great plus
- Manual dexterity and enjoyment of practical work
- Good German skills, English is an advantage
