A DATA MANAGER, "COLORECTAL CANCER SCREENING" (FIXED-TERM CONTRACT)

The GENEVA FOUNDATION FOR CANCER SCREENING, founded in 1999, is mandated by the State of Geneva to promote and coordinate breast and colorectal cancer screening in the Geneva population. Join an organisation committed to public health and contribute to improving the prevention and screening of colorectal cancer as a Data Manager.

Your mission will be to perform quality control of data entry for the first evaluation of the cantonal colorectal cancer screening programme in Geneva. Additionally, you will transform data into indicators for analysis, decision support, and publication purposes.
You will work closely with a small multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Analyse data quality, detect data entry errors, outliers or missing values, and correct inconsistencies,
• Clean and adapt data categorisation,
• Enhance the quality of entered data by implementing regular validity checks,
• Conduct statistical analyses on collected data,
• Produce visualisations and materials to present results,
• Final archiving of data,
• Documentation and traceability of data: develop and maintain documents necessary for continuity and traceability of processed data,

Qualifications

• Academic training in a health discipline, biostatistics, data science or equivalent,
• More than 5 years’ experience in data management in the health sector,
• Proficiency in data management, reporting and statistical analysis software,
• Intellectual curiosity, analytical mindset and interest in applied research,
• Ability to work independently, with rigour and organisational skills.

• Work rate: 50% to 80% (negotiable)
