Your mission:
As a centre manager, your role will be to ensure that clients of the Medical-Social Centres (CMS) receive appropriate, effective, and economical services, in accordance with the home care policy of the Vaud Association for Home Help and Care (AVASAD).
You ensure working conditions conducive to fulfilling the CMS mission and the development of staff, and you respect the human and financial resource allocations defined jointly with management.
You propose and develop measures or projects aimed at improving the functioning of the CMS and participate in the continuous improvement of the operations and institutional policies of Fondation Soins Lausanne and AVASAD.
The main responsibilities will be as follows:
- Actively participate in the management of FSL as a member of the management committee, contribute to the development of the strategy in line with the missions, objectives, and values of the Vaud CMS in close collaboration with the Director and Service Managers, and ensure its implementation
- Manage one or more CMS:
- Translate the FSL strategy into operational axes and objectives for the CMS and take responsibility for its application and deployment by leading, organising, planning, and coordinating the implementation steps
- Seek efficiency, economy, and appropriateness of services to clients while promoting the establishment of quality approaches and proposing developments linked to the evolving context of home help and care
- Guarantee the quality of care, particularly in complex situations, intervene with clients if necessary, and manage complaints and claims with a view to improvement
- Analyse the organisation and general functioning of the CMS, propose continuous improvement projects to ensure efficiency, optimise resources, and harmonise practices in collaboration with other centre managers
- Mobilise and unite teams towards common goals and secure their commitment to produce the expected results and ensure the success of the organisation and its members
- Establish and promote a harmonious working climate and quality interpersonal relationships within FSL (Collaborative Charter, mediation/conciliation, change support, etc.)
- Evaluate and anticipate the needs (quantity and skills) in human resources for the CMS, recruit staff, ensure supervision (oversee, support, assist), encourage professional development, identify talents and prepare succession, and ensure health and safety prevention and promotion at work
- Ensure proper application of financial rules, participate in the preparation of the annual CMS budget, conduct steering meetings, analyse budget variances, propose and implement relevant corrective actions
- Uphold and apply policies, laws, directives, and internal regulations, including LAVASAD and the CMS Charter
- Represent the Lausanne and Vaud CMS

Your profile and skills:
- University of Applied Sciences degree in the socio-health field (or equivalent qualification), complemented by advanced management training
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
- In-depth knowledge of the Vaud socio-health sector
- Leadership, conceptual and strategic thinking, entrepreneurial spirit, change management
- Efficiency orientation, planning and organisation
- Interprofessional and interdisciplinary approach, collaborative spirit and excellent communication
- Sense of responsibility, awareness and professional ethics
- Resilience to stress and flexibility
