Project Manager Civil Engineering (m/f/d)

Role:
In this position, you are responsible for the technical planning and coordination of demanding civil engineering and infrastructure projects from the concept phase to implementation. You develop economical solutions for drainage and sewerage systems, manage external partners, and ensure efficient project execution. You act as the central interface between authorities, specialist planners, and project teams, actively contributing your technical and entrepreneurial expertise.
Responsibilities:
Development and elaboration of civil engineering, drainage, and sewerage concepts for demanding construction projects
Coordination and alignment with authorities and official bodies to ensure smooth approval processes
Determination and evaluation of construction and civil engineering costs according to the respective project phases
Preparation of tender documents and awarding of contracts to specialist planners and subcontractors
Coordination of external services in the areas of special civil engineering, civil engineering, building construction, and landscaping
Management, schedule monitoring, and quality assurance of planning processes and project workflows
Collaboration with internal and external project participants for the successful implementation of construction projects
Support in technical and economic decision-making processes throughout the entire project duration
Qualifications:
Completed training as a draftsman, construction supervisor, master builder, civil engineering technician, or civil engineer
Experience in solid construction and civil engineering
Sound technical understanding as well as knowledge in planning and realising construction projects
Strong entrepreneurial thinking and confidence in technical and economic negotiations
Experience in coordinating specialist planners, contractors, and project partners
Good user knowledge of MS Office and ideally experience with Messerli
High personal responsibility, structured working method, and strong quality awareness
Team spirit, flexibility, and willingness to take responsibility in demanding projects
Fluent German skills
