About the job
Welcome to the Social Network District Horgen Association (SNH). The Acquisition and Coaching Department supports unemployed individuals in integrating into the primary labour market. Due to the retirement of the previous post holder, the position of department head is to be newly filled.
We are looking for a Head of Acquisition & Coaching 80% starting 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.
As the department head, you will be jointly responsible with your team leaders for the personnel and professional management of approximately 20 specialist staff members.
Your leadership duties include the structural, organisational, and qualitative development of the department in collaboration with other department heads and the division management.
Your main tasks
- Personnel and professional management of three team leaders
- Responsibility for the programmes and sub-areas of Coaching and Acquisition in cooperation with:
- the Employment Office (PvP, SEMO, JobcoachingPlus)
- the Integration Office (Job coaching and work placements)
- the municipalities (work placement programmes) - Conceptual development of the division and its offerings in collaboration with the division management and the departments of Work and Education
- Responsibility for quality management
- Public relations and contact person for third parties
Requirements profile
- University of Applied Sciences or university degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a comparable field
- Leadership experience
- Experience in labour market integration
- Training and experience in coaching and counselling or equivalent further education in leadership
- Independent and structured working style, strong team and IT skills, as well as analytical and solution-oriented thinking
