The Lausanne Municipal Police ensures security throughout the urban area, prioritising proximity to the population. With over 700 employees, the Police Corps carries out numerous tasks and is composed of several divisions.

Main Mission(s)

Manage events: organise and/or lead events within the scope of your responsibilities, provide prior notice for authorisation requests and participate in the preparation of service orders

Assist the head of the motorcycle group: participate in setting the group’s objectives and annual reviews, ensure the quality of services and monitor the proper execution of tasks, manage the group’s equipment and specific gear

Provide training to your colleagues and, upon request, conduct courses for partners

Carry out police duties: make arrests or detain offenders, conduct specific checks, handle investigations and requisitions within your area of activity

Profile

Federal police certificate

Management training, CCI VD HR and ISP CCII courses required

9 years of police experience and 5 years within a motorcycle unit

Good knowledge of road traffic law (RTL) and related procedures

Leadership and ease in communication and interpersonal contacts

Sense of cooperation between entities

Result-oriented with the ability to work efficiently and diligently

Category A motorcycle driving licence
