Operational Buyer 80-100% (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Monitoring material stocks and timely initiation of necessary procurements
Reviewing supplier offers and conducting price and condition comparisons
Processing orders and controlling open delivery dates in SAP
Coordination with internal departments in case of short-term material requirements
Handling faulty deliveries and resolving complaints
Updating purchasing-relevant information and supplier data in the system
Supporting the analysis and improvement of existing procurement processes
Maintaining supplier contacts and following up on agreed deadlines
Qualifications:
Commercial or technical basic training, supplemented by further training in purchasing or technology
Several years of experience in procurement or disposition in an industrial company
Solid user knowledge in SAP MM as well as routine handling of MS Office
Knowledge of materials management and supply chain management
Experience in coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Independent work organisation and reliable handling of multiple tasks
Strong communication skills, flexibility and a fact-based approach to deviations
Business fluent German and good English skills
