About the job
The Directorate of Real Estate and Operations is responsible for the planning, construction, management, and operation of the entire real estate infrastructure of Insel Gruppe AG. The Directorate's goal is to ensure a needs-based, future-oriented, and success-promoting infrastructure for medicine, education, teaching, and research at Insel Gruppe AG, taking into account the requirements and needs of patients, visitors, and employees. The Infrastructure Project Management division is responsible for the structural implementation of complex infrastructure projects.
What to expect
- Sound knowledge in hospital construction or willingness to acquire it
- Representation of the client throughout the entire lifecycle of buildings, from construction to demolition
- Management and control of demanding new construction, conversion, and demolition projects in a highly specialised hospital environment and during ongoing operations
- Definition of the project’s organisational structure and processes
- Leadership and coordination of external planning and specialist teams
- Close collaboration with internal stakeholders in the hospital environment
What you bring
- Completed studies as an architect, civil engineer specialising in building construction, or building services engineer
- Professional experience in healthcare or strong interest in moving into this exciting field
- Experience in planning or implementing new construction, conversion, and demolition projects – preferably in healthcare
- Sound project management knowledge with certification according to IPMA Level C or B, or willingness to obtain such
- High social competence, assertiveness, and enjoyment of interdisciplinary/interprofessional collaboration
- Experience dealing with diverse stakeholders and complex stakeholder structures
- Knowledge of contract law and public procurement law is advantageous
