- Inform and alert authorities and the public in case of flooding or drought
- Ensure the quality of hydrological models in the operational forecasting system
- Enhance the team with your solid experience in machine learning models applied to forecasting
- Develop strategies and plans to evolve the range of models and forecasting systems used

- Participate in the work of national and international bodies
What makes you unique
- Degree from a university of applied sciences in hydrology or environmental sciences or equivalent recognised training and experience in hydrological models
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning models
- Proven experience in managing projects involving complex IT systems
- Good IT skills related to managing large data sets
- Good active knowledge of at least one other official language and ideally knowledge of the third; good active knowledge of English
- Willingness to perform on-call duties, including at weekends
