The Glâne Health Network is an association representing the 14 municipalities of the Glâne district. It consists of three medico-social establishments (235 beds including 24 beds in psychogeriatrics), a Day Care Centre with 8 places, an Evaluation and Orientation Stay Unit (SEO) with 12 beds, and the home help and care service (ASDG).
To complete its team, the Glâne Health Network is advertising a position for a
Head Nurse of a Care Unit (ICUS) at 80%-100%
Mission
- Coordinate the care unit in accordance with the mission, guidelines, care and support concept.
- Provide care to residents in accordance with recent best practices, respecting safety, effectiveness, comfort, and economy.
- Promote nursing expertise in the comprehensive support of the resident.
- Organise, plan, and manage the daily care and team management.
- Identify the team’s needs and respond to them.
- Meet the needs and expectations of residents and their families.
- Collaborate with the IC for the coordination of the care sector.
- Coordinate internal activities within the unit to achieve annual objectives.
- Participate in institutional projects, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement of practices.
- Provide on-call services with the possibility of intervention within 30 minutes.
Profile
- Bachelor of Science HES-SO in nursing or a diploma recognised by the Swiss Red Cross.
- Holder of a CAS in team management or an equivalent qualification would be an asset.
- Confirmed expertise and clinical knowledge in geriatrics and/or psychogeriatrics.
- Sense of responsibility, autonomy, dynamism, and flexibility.
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of common IT tools (PEP, Carefolio, RAI, MS Office).
- RAI supervisor training would be an asset.
- Very good oral and written knowledge of French.
