Layout Designer: 80-100%
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for designing the warehouse layout, optimal placement of new items, and efficient management of picking locations in WAMAS
- Continuous analysis and optimisation of warehouse structure and goods flow according to ABC criteria with the aim of continuously increasing process efficiency
- Handling quality returns, new products, old stock, as well as promotional and residual stock with a focus on cost-effectiveness and orderliness
- Close collaboration with purchasing, goods receipt, and picking to continuously improve warehouse processes
- Participation in lean management initiatives, stock checks, and inventories, as well as shared responsibility for safety, cleanliness, and order in the warehouse area
Requirements
- Completed training in logistics and at least 2–3 years of professional experience in a logistics company
- Very good user knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel; knowledge of WAMAS and SAP is an advantage
- Sound knowledge of common logistics processes, ideally in the food and non-food sectors
- Structured, quality-conscious, and independent working style as well as a strong understanding of safety and quality standards
- Networked, solution-oriented thinking, flair for numbers, and a assertive, communicative, and flexible personality with very good German language skills
