Senior Public Prosecutor 80 - 100%
Exciting tasks await:
- Lead the Public Prosecutor's Office Muri-Bremgarten (approx. 20 employees) strategically, operationally and professionally
- Ensure, together with other public prosecutors, an efficient and uniform handling of criminal proceedings until the final verdict in the districts of Muri and Bremgarten
- In addition to your management role, actively work as a public prosecutor and provide on-call service
- Ensure communication internally and externally within the framework of the guidelines of the Senior Public Prosecutor's Office
- Participate in cantonal and inter-cantonal committees and ensure optimal cooperation with the Senior Public Prosecutor's Office and other public prosecutor's offices, the cantonal and regional police as well as the courts
What you bring:
- Completed law degree and a lawyer's licence
- Qualified many years of legal professional experience in criminal prosecution
- Strong leadership skills and practical leadership experience
- Pronounced assertiveness as well as convincing communication skills
The election to Senior Public Prosecutor is made by the Grand Council upon the proposal of the Government Council.

Your working environment
We are responsible in the Public Prosecutor's Office Aargau for criminal proceedings against adults in the canton of Aargau. We conduct the preliminary proceedings and prosecute offences and offenders in close cooperation with the police. We issue penalty orders, bring charges and represent the state's criminal claim in court.
