Network & Security Engineer 80-100% (m/f/d)
Role:
Networks are your craft - from switches to firewalls to WLAN. You plan, configure and maintain complex data networks for customers. In operation, you ensure stability and reliably resolve faults. You test new hardware and features in the lab before deployment. You work with customers both regionally and nationally.
Responsibilities:
You install, plan, configure and maintain complex data networks including wireless, switching, routing, firewall, NAC and monitoring
You operate and support customer networks
You undertake troubleshooting and fault resolution at customers
You create documentation and concepts
You administer provider connections
Additionally, you test new hardware and features in the lab and continuously further your education
Qualifications:
You have completed a technical education in the IT field
You are flexible regarding work environment and hours and open to assignments outside office hours
You hold a category B driving licence for customer assignments
You have excellent German and very good English skills, both spoken and written
You have further training or certifications in networking and/or IT security
You are familiar with network and firewall products from established manufacturers; experience with network automation is a plus
