Senior Business Controller (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 115,000Our client is an internationally active Swiss industrial company focusing on highly precise tool clamping and manufacturing solutions. With many years of experience, high development competence, and state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies, the company develops and produces innovative products for demanding industrial applications. Role:
Turning data into strategy, driving change, and challenging the business: In this changed role, you act not only as an analyst but as a strategic pace-setter for management and departments. You take on complex control topics, critically question established business models, and accompany strategic transformation projects. If you want to use your solid experience to help shape strategic decisions at the highest level and build modern performance cockpits, this position offers the perfect field.
Responsibilities:
You advise the C-level and managers directly on strategic orientations, investments, and reorganisation projects.
You are responsible for the design, modelling, and implementation of driver-based financial and planning models.
You build modern, automated Power BI and BI dashboards to create real-time transparency across all business areas.
You manage demanding M&A projects, profitability calculations, and business cases for new business areas.
You lead finance-related special projects and optimise the interfaces between finance, IT, and operational units.
Qualifications:
Completed master’s degree (university/FH) with a focus on controlling, corporate finance, or data analytics.
At least 5 to 8 years of proven experience in senior business controlling, FP&A, or management consulting.
Excellent track record in data visualisation and modelling (very good Power BI, SQL, or Python skills advantageous).
Strong strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and confident appearance at C-level.
Fluent German and English for working in an international environment.
