Development Engineer Mechanical Engineering FH/BSc 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

Our client, a world-leading Swiss manufacturer of electric chain hoists and crane systems, is looking to strengthen the team at the Schötz location (150 employees) from 1 October 2026 or by arrangement with a Development Engineer Mechanical Engineering (m/f/d). Your tasks include:

• Design and construction work in the field of mechanical engineering

• Development of mechanical and mechatronic systems for industrial and stage technology

• Managing development projects from the design phase to standard adoption

• Interdisciplinary collaboration with electrical engineering

• Supporting product management in optimisation matters

What do I need to be successful?

• Technical basic training with qualification as a mechanical engineer (FH/BSc)

• Familiarity with engineering tools such as CAD/PDM/FEM

• Oral and written English skills (at least level B2)
