Tyre Fitter / Automotive Mechanic

Founded in 2001 in Montreux, Nicola Tyres garage is the tyre specialist for all brands and all types of vehicles (city cars, premium, commercial vehicles). We offer comprehensive expertise in tyres as well as high-quality general mechanical service.

To strengthen its team during the autumn-winter 2026 season, the garage is looking for a:

Fixed-term contract (FTC) – Autumn/Winter season

Duration: From October until the end of December 2026 (extension possible)

Activity rate: 100%

Location: 1820 Montreux

Your main tasks:

• Dismantling, fitting and balancing tyres.
• Resetting the pressure warning lights on the dashboard and using the diagnostic device.
• Performing periodic services, oil changes, checking and replacing brakes (discs and pads) and general mechanics.
• Organising and managing tyre storage.
• Cleaning and maintaining order within the workshop.
• Supporting customer reception, listening to their needs and providing telephone support for appointment scheduling.

Your profile:

• Proven experience in tyres on motor vehicles.
• Holder of a Federal VET Diploma / AFP as a mechanic/automotive maintenance assistant or an equivalent qualification.
• Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Clear, simple and professional oral expression.
• Fluent command of French (knowledge of English is a plus).
• Resident in Switzerland.
