Associate - Business Law (M&A / Corporate)

You will join a renowned firm in the area as an associate in commercial law.

Leading law firm in Geneva, advising Swiss and international clients in business law.

Responsibilities

Your duties:

• Advise Swiss and international clients in commercial law and corporate law.
• Work on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), restructurings and other complex transactions.
• Draft, negotiate and review transactional and corporate documentation.
• Assist clients with issues related to real estate, commercial leases and employment law.
• Manage files independently while working closely with partners and other teams within the firm.

Candidate Profile

Your profile:

• < 3 to 5 years post-qualification experience in commercial law, M&A and corporate law, ideally within a recognised firm.
• Fluency in French and English; German is a real asset.
• Strong client orientation and ease in interacting with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while fully integrating into a collaborative team.
• Excellent analytical skills, communication and practical business sense.
