About the position

On behalf of several Fribourg-based companies specialising in interior design, renovation and timber construction, we are looking for a versatile carpenter (workshop and/or installation).

Whether for custom manufacturing or on-site installation, you will join passionate teams recognised for the quality of their expertise.

Your main tasks

• Reading technical manufacturing plans and cutting materials.

• Machining, assembling and veneering elements in solid wood, laminate or chipboard.

• Use of traditional fixed machines (spindle moulder, circular saw, planer) and ideally CNC machines.

• Sanding work, surface treatment and finishing (varnish, lacquer, oil).

• Installation of interior fittings (kitchens, cupboards, wardrobes, doors, parquet flooring, wood panelling).

• Installation of exterior closures (windows, front doors, shutters).

• Measuring, adjusting and retouching work directly on site.

• Strict adherence to safety instructions (SUVA).

• Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of proven experience in workshop or on site (preferably in Switzerland).
• Tools & Technique: Mastery of portable tools, autonomy in reading plans and precision in adjustments.
• Personal skills: Careful, autonomous, with a good eye for detail and client contact for work in occupied environments.
• Language: Fluent French
• Driving licence: Category B driving licence essential.
