Head of Export & Logistics 100% (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF90,000 - 105,000Our client is an established Swiss manufacturing company with an international focus. Responsibilities:
Leadership, promotion, and professional support of a small transport team
Planning, coordination, and monitoring of national and international transport operations by road, rail, air, and sea freight
Ensuring customs and foreign trade compliance as well as adherence to legal regulations
Coordination of transport activities with purchasing, logistics, production planning, and order management
Analysis and continuous improvement of existing logistics processes with a focus on digitalisation, automation, and lean logistics
Development and evaluation of relevant KPIs to optimise quality, costs, and delivery performance
Collaboration with international locations and external transport service providers to ensure an efficient supply chain
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training in transport, logistics, or forwarding with further education or a degree in supply chain management
Several years of experience in transport logistics and managing complex transport processes
Good knowledge of ERP systems and warehouse management systems
Proven experience in staff management as well as strong communication and organisational skills
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style with a high degree of personal responsibility
Knowledge of lean management is desirable
Very good German skills as well as good English skills, both spoken and written
