Bus Driver (Category D Licence) (M/F/D)

We are seeking, on behalf of a passenger transport company renowned for its excellence, an experienced and conscientious Coach Driver to strengthen its team in the Martigny area.

This key role involves ensuring the continuity and quality of transport services (public, school and/or occasional routes) throughout the Valais region and, where applicable, on the national network.

Functions and Responsibilities

• Driving proficiency: Ensure the safe handling and driving of vehicles, strictly adhering to professional and regulatory standards. Comfortable driving on mountain roads is mandatory.

• Adherence to schedules: Transport passengers according to established routes and timetables.

• Equipment checks: Perform routine technical inspections (before and after service) to maintain the operational condition and maximum safety of the coach.

• Customer relations: Welcome passengers professionally, provide assistance, and contribute positively to their comfort during the journey.

• Regulatory compliance: Strictly apply the highway code and all legal provisions governing passenger transport.

• Driving licence: Must hold a valid Category D driving licence (Passenger Transport).

• Professional certification: Possess an up-to-date Driver Qualification Card (OACP).

• Expertise: Demonstrate significant professional experience as a bus or coach driver.

• Geographical knowledge: Have excellent knowledge of the road network in the Martigny region, Valais, and good familiarity with the Swiss network.

• Interpersonal skills: Show a strong customer service orientation and positive interaction abilities.

• Core qualities: Your profile should be distinguished by reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
